Design your first recipe
A recipe is a saved set of your GR's own camera parameters — nothing more, nothing invented.
Steps
- 1
In GR Studio's sidebar, choose Develop.
- 2
Pick a starting look from the look picker (Standard, Vivid, Monotone, and the rest of your camera's built-in looks).
- 3
Adjust parameters in the control panel on the right — each one is named and ranged exactly as your camera's own menu presents it.
- 4
Use the white balance panel if you want to set a specific white balance shift.
- 5
Compare your change against the original with the before/after view.
- 6
Name your recipe and choose Save to add it to your library.
If that didn't work
GR Studio doesn't yet render a live calibrated preview from your camera's actual sensor response — until a calibration bundle for your camera is installed, the preview area shows an honest "no bundle installed" state instead of a faked image. You can still design and save recipes; see Preview looks different from my camera's JPEG for what that page covers.
Still stuck? We don't have a support address to give you yet. Use the Report control on any recipe or profile page to reach us— include the diagnostics file if the app offered one (here's how to find it →). A human reads every message.
