Install and activate GR Studio

GR StudiomacOSWindows

GR Studio isn't tied to a single machine — you sign in and activate it on each computer you use, and you can move it later.

Steps

  1. 1

Go to the download page and get the build for your operating system.

  2. 2

Open GR Studio and go to Account in the sidebar.

  3. 3

Choose Sign in, then follow the code shown on screen to finish signing in.

  4. 4

Once signed in, give this computer a name and choose Activate this device.

  5. 5

If you don't have a license yet, choose Start free trial instead — no card is needed.

If that didn't work

If activation says you're out of device slots, open Move GR Studio to a new computer for how to free one up. If sign-in itself won't complete, see Change or recover your sign-in.

Windows builds of GR Studio haven't been verified on real hardware yet — if something looks wrong on Windows specifically, that's useful for us to know about.

Still stuck? We don't have a support address to give you yet. Use the Report control on any recipe or profile page to reach us— include the diagnostics file if the app offered one (here's how to find it →). A human reads every message.
