Match This Look, explained

Match searches for the closest recipe your camera can actually produce to a reference image you give it — it never claims an exact match, only the closest one achievable within your camera's real range.

Steps

   Open Match from the sidebar.

   Drop in a reference image.

3. 3

   Pick a base image from your library to compare against.

4. 4

   Choose Run Match and watch it search.

5. 5

   Review the ranked candidates it finds, each with a score.

6. 6

   Open a candidate to see its gap report — what matched, and what your camera's range couldn't reach.

   Choose Save as Recipe to keep the result in your library.

If that didn't work

Match doesn't yet show a live rendered preview of the matched look inside the Match screen itself — you can run the search, review the gap report, and save the result as a recipe, then open it in Develop to see it rendered.
