What works on which camera
GR Studio never invents camera behaviour — every parameter and capability comes from data verified against a real camera, or is marked as unverified until it is. Today, most of that data is still unverified.
See Compatibility for the same information laid out camera by camera, including remote shutter and live view.
Steps
- 1
Check the table below for your camera body.
- 2
If your body shows "not yet verified," parameters and looks shown for it are placeholders pending real verification — not a claim about your actual camera.
- 3
If your body shows "no data yet," GR Studio doesn't yet have anything to show for it at all.
Camera support today
| Camera | Parameter data | Status |
|---|---|---|
| GR III | Exists | Not yet verified against a real camera |
| GR IIIx | None yet | No data yet |
| GR IV | Exists | Not yet verified against a real camera |
| GR IV Monochrome | None yet | No data yet |
Two capabilities are tracked separately from the parameter list above, and today neither is verified for any camera: direct, automatic recipe writes to the camera, and remote shutter release. Until either is verified for your body, GR Studio Companion uses the guided, on-camera walkthrough instead of writing directly — see Send a recipe to your camera.
If that didn't work
If something about your specific camera and firmware behaves differently from what's shown here, that's genuinely useful to know — this table will be updated as real cameras are verified.
